Don't supose anyone knows if there's a fix for this? I also use Ultimate Traffic II, but I guess this is probably a basic FSX bug is it not?

It's not a bug at all and maybe I will be able to improve things going forward. Normally PFE freezes all AI traffic assigned to your active runway. However, when this usually occurs is when a taxiing aircraft (not assigned to your active runway) taxi across the runway you're on. I'd be interested to hear how often this has happened to anyone and at which airports. I really don't want to freeze ALL AI traffic during the takeoff roll because I believe that could appear somewhat strange but maybe I could think of another way of handling it. What I also do not want to get into is too much heavy processing checking all moving AI to see if they are getting too close to your runway.... it can be done but there's a price for everything.

It would be good if maybe all AI froze when the user aircraft is going at more than 40 knots, then it will represent the takeoff roll.

It doesn't tend to happen for me during landing though.

That's okay provided an AI aircraft that 'would' have crossed the active runway isn't suddenly frozen directly on it ! ;-)

It's odd though, the AI tends to cross the runway path just as I'm at least at 80knots rolling down the runway near V1. And I suppose if it is taxiing across just as takeoff clearance has been given you can visually takeoff after a few seconds to let it pass.
