Hello people!

i am using FDC for a long time and i ordered some real atc chatter files and i can´t get bring them to work with FDC!

i put all files correctly in right folders and have ATC,SHOW ATC CHANGE, ONLY ATC and AUTO SWITCHED ENROUTE CHATTER options all CHECKED!!
loudness is also correct!
all files are .wav files and are not corrupted! i try this out also with some files from Radar Contact 4 and it´s also not working!
i use PFE (because of voice expansion sets ++++++ ) and i miss this enroute chatter files from Radar Contact (i know there is also LIVE ATC but the coverage is not very great at the moment in europe).

did i overlook some thing or option? or do i have to rename or give some ascending numbered order or something like that ???

Are you sure you have them named correctly. The default setting for Windows Explorer is NOT to show files types of known files, so then if you name the file as a .wav it is actually .wav.wav

yes, there are right, i meant ofcourse wav file!
should they have some nubers or some resricted size?

i dont know, i´m trying everything, i´m using reg. version of FSUIPC ver. 4.5 and try some other versions but they simply don´t play!

My configuration is FSX ACCEL + FSUIPC 4.5 and FDC 3.11.0!

Well I personally haven't tried this for many years. All I know is it should be very simple.

Where have you installed the ATC file?

Try simply putting them in the root of \AtcChatter then selecting 'Local ATC Only'. Once you get that working you can move onto the regional ATC

i put them into C:\Programme\Aerosoft\FDC\AtcChatter\Europe_(West)\Enroute (and also departure, tower, ground and so on...)!

only local ATC is selected!

ok i try to put them in the root directory!

ok is working!!! thank you, now is clear !! i have read the manual and understood wrong where i have to copy files if i have local chatter enabled!

enroute chatter is now also working !!
