Well some of you may know Microsoft is releasing it's latest version of our enjoyment/hobby/whatever you want to call it on August 18th...so not long to go.
I will get the std version after i have done some digging, as to see what we are paying for and what we are getting for our money..
Anyone else thinking about getting it or just sticking with FSX/P3D for now?

I’m going to order the deluxe just for Amsterdam airport. I don’t expect it to be a fully operational sim for at least 6 months by the time we wait for all other adding and iron out any bugs. It’s taken ages to get p3d 5 running smoothly so until ms2020 is at the same level with all my addons (pf3, mobiflight pmdg etc) it’ll just be used for messing about. I am excited to finally be able to see it though, I’ve even booked the day off work ha ha

I'll probably get it at some point, but not right at release. A big factor for me is that now non-flat runways are possible. I know that this would theoretically work with P3Dv5, too, but I always avoided P3D for various reasons.
Since FSUIPC7 is already being worked on, I hope to be able to use PF3 with this new flight sim as well :)

Probably at least a year before we see issues ironed out and one or two good quality aircraft and scenery.

You may have to dig out the code to make some tweaks Dave ;)

Had a great few days exploring the new SIM, done some controller sensitivity tweaks, looked around the world a bit and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. But now its time to get serious and fly properly with PF3.

Hope to see the MSFS version soon.

I have PF3 running with FS2020 now and actually shared it with my beta guys a few days after the FS release... but it's not really usable as such due to the known issues with Simconnect. Those should be addressed with the sim's patch next week.

However, we are still some way off being in a position to release the new version of PF3 as we don't have a FS2020 version of MakeRwys. I understand Peter Dowson will be addressing this going forward but as yet we don't know when. For testing I simply use FS9 data but could equally use FSX or P3D data.

If you are a regular sim user and would perhaps like to help out testing PF3 then please drop me an email so we can discuss further.

The new update will be for FS9/FSX/P3D and FS2020 and yes, there will be some new features and enhancements
