Hi guys

Finally had some time to fly from EHam to EGPH the other day. Everything was going great and as expected (thanks to Dan for guiding me on flight plan process) however, once I got close to Edinburgh they kept me at 11000 ft and gave me an approach to runway 6 and started giving me my approach headings but there was no decent given although I was 13nm out and the heading the kept giving was 315. After 10 mins of that I decided to just ignore Atc and did my own approach which went fine, once clear of the runway I contacted ground for gate instructions and they said Gate 6, however gate 6 was already taken by an AIG aircraft.

Is there something I need to setup for pf3 and AIG to work correctly?

I’m down at caravan for the weekend so don’t have access to my log files but can send them in on Sunday if needed. Still very happy with how everything went tho

Couple of things here. Firstly you didn't adhere to ATC telling you to descend to 11,000' and just continued descending. Secondly your flight plan adjustments were incorrect.

From the log
Using Adjusted Waypoint Altitudes...
Original Alt (see FPP) for WP 8 changed to: 1000
AGPED was originally set to 24,000 so I assume you meant to change this to 11000? The next waypoint, TARTN, was still set to 9,000', so your passengers were in for a bit of a helter skelter ride... desceding to 1000' then climbing again to 6000' before entering your final descent to EGPH

Ah ok, I’ll try it again. Did you notice anything with AIG giving me gate 6 that was already taken?

Sorry no, the log doesn't show that level of detail. You could always reserve that gate
