Hi guys

New here.. I have setup PF3 and I'm looking to get remotetext working, (I assume this will show the radio text?) Anyway, I ran the remotetext program, told it to connect to "FlightSim" the name of my pc, and it just says connecting.. I tried again with the IP address and the same thing.

I tried it again on my 2nd PC on the network, and the program won't even start

What am I doing wrong?

I have closed captions set to on (I also use MCE if that helps)

Have you selected to use RemoteText in the Advanced Options Section (Options #2 from the main menu). You also need to have 'Closed Captions' set on the Options #1 page. It's all detailed in Section 14 of the PF3 User Guide! :)

With regard to it running on a client PC you will probably have to install the runtimes... see the third item down on our website FAQ's for PF3_Display issues.

Hi

Got it working thanks.

Not sure I’ve setup everything correctly though as it’s hit or miss wether I get a response from Atc. Possibly a setting wrong somewhere in pf3 or I’m asking for the wrong thing in mce
