Hi.. I always run PF3 with the ATC log window open - it comes up automatically when I start PF3. It has been working fine for as long as I can remember, but this past week, though the window is still there, none of the ATC messages now appear in it, it's always blank. (The Remote text window is still working fine, BTW).

Been looking through threads here hoping to find a way to fix this.. no luck so far. What do I need to do to reset/reinstall this and get the ATC log showing the ATC instructions again?

Many thanks,

Martin

Nothing you can do to reset it I'm afraid. If you have the ATC log window showing then it should work.

I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!

Well, I 'fixed' the problem simply by replacing my data folder with a copy that I had backed up a few weeks ago. Now the ATC chat window shows text again... One of the files had been messed up then, but I shan't now know which I suppose!

Thanks.

It could only be a setting in the ini file but as I say, with the window opening it should have been working. Nevertheless, well done and thanks for sharing.
