Hi,

I'm in the process of creating backup and uninstalling everything from my system as I'm about to upgrade my PC.
I'm trying to deactivate the license of PF3 atc but when I'm clicking the appropriate button, it simply opens an activation popup after I confirmed the deactivation. Whatever if I close it or not, after restarting PF3 atc it's still activated.

I'd like to be able to reinstall without asking again a reactivation after a windows reinstall, is this behaviour normal or is the deactivation not being completed?

Sounds like you have an issue. Once you've upgraded your PC just send me your activation code via email and I'll reset your account.

Samething happened to me,possibly due to switching O/S from HDD to SSD...maybe due to a file or two missing or damaged in process.

Hi Dave,

I've sent you a mail.

By the way, I've kept my older install, in order to get my settings back, should I only put my old PF3.ini in the newly installed PF3 or are there other things to do?

PF3.INI will certainly put all your configuration settings back as they were. However, if you've made any changes to the runways data base then they will not be restored, but you could copy over the PF3\Data folder to do so

That's good to know thanks :)
Looking forward to use PF3 again. Probably not perfect but definitely the best piece of ATC software for P3D.
