Recently switched PF3 pc's (networked and run via WideFs) with no issues. Pf3 connects and runs perfectly, however there is no Pf3 sound. The pc sounds such as music and clicks etc. are working. I've checked sound settings, drivers, mute on/off and the external sound system that is used to no avail. There appears to be no connection (i.e. for sound) between PF3 and the pc's sound device.

Could not find anything in PF3 help.

Using Win7/64 on PF3 pc and Win10/64 on P3Dv4.5 pc.

Doesn't really seem like a PF3 problem but thought I'd mention it in case anyone had any ideas...???

Regards

Affirmative. Forgot to mention that closed caption works. Everything works except PF3 sound. BTW, I can hear the wave files... i.e. double clicking on an individual PF3 wave file.
Thanks.

You need to install the DirectX for Managed Code Runtimes on your client pc

Please check the second item on our FAQ's page for the download link
