Good Day,

This was my second attempt at a flight from ZSPD-OTHH. The first one ended when center told me to stay at 10000 feet and PMDG FMC wanted me closer to 32000. I adjusted the SID altitude to 32000 for the second attempt. Everything was going better until the descent. I plug in the altitudes that PMDG gives me to the PF3 flightplan and on the previous two flights it has worked fine.

This time when PMDG reached top of descent, PF3 told me to stay at 32000. I ended PF3 after I was down to about FL220 and PF3 was still requesting that I stay at 32000. The STAR beginning was Bayan.

I am not sure if it something went wrong or my altitudes were off in the flight plan and if so the best way to correct.

Also, the hot keys for requesting lower/higher altitudes did not work in the first flight when it stuck me at 10000 or the second when it stuck me at 32000. I ran the display on the first flight and it said the frequency was approach.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Paul Goodman

This may be another instance of a frequency clash involving the extended center sectors file. Dave, can you have a look?

As far as I can see, you got no control center handoffs after your initial contact with the first control center, and you got vectoring instructions at cruise which should not be happening. It may be due to a clash between Center and Approach frequencies but we'll see if Dave has any other thoughts.
