This is sort of a kicking tires type of question - problem doesn't happen every time but enough to be annoying -

Everything in the flight(s) works as expected except the volume of the comms might get so low it is difficult to hear and then the response is loud and normal. Might happen once or twice during a flight or not at all.

I have the output routed to a headset using W10's built in audio router.

Anyone run into this before?

P3D 4.4 7770k @ 5ghz 1080ti

PF3 has a feature that simulates poor reception occasionally, to increase realism. You can adjust the probability of poor-quality transmissions or disable the feature entirely. Options #2, Advanced Options and INI File Tweaks, COMs section, Poor Reception. See also the User Guide, p. 71.
