Is there a reason why ATC will only give me a gate on arrival if I stop the aircraft? I don't ever remember in the 'real-world' my plane stopping after it taxis off the runway; perhaps sometimes it does, but usually it continues on, off the runway, right up to the gate.

Do I have something set in options for this to happen? Or, could it be changed somehow so that gates are assigned whilst the a/c is on the move?

Thanks.

PF3 is calculating a taxi path from your current position, which it can't do if you are moving.
