No presets for flight plan?

Can it be that nobody has this file unless a preset was saved before (which many have), and now PF3 requires this file to be already present?

No, the file is created if it doesn't exist the moment you select 'Load a flight plan'. At least that's how it worked pre 3.8 ;)

If I rename FP_Preset.dat to FP_Preset.dat.off, start PF3, and try to load a flight plan, I get the same error. Does it work for you if this file does not exist?

No of course not, but it works fine with 3.8.5 ;)
