Post subject:  I can't deactivate

I've just installed an SSD to my laptop (which replaces the DVD drive), and now I have two drives. When I went back to the HDD with Windows, I entered PF3 and tried to deactivate prior to uninstall (and reinstall from the SSD with Windows). However, as soon as I deactivate and confirm , I'm prompted for the activation key and password, and thus, PF3 ends up re-activated. How can deactivate for installing from the correct OS? I've deactivated/uninstalled all other activation-sensitive addons...

PF3 does not ask for your activation code during deactivation, only your password. After deactivating PF3 it will ask for your activation code the next time you try to run it. If, for some unknown reason, your PF3 is restarting after deactivation (can't imagine how) simply hit 'cancel'. Your PF3 will be deactivated.

Any other problem with this please email me direct and include a link to this post and your activation code

Thanks a lot, Dave. After your reply, I was able to reinstall in my new drive configuration (SSD+HDD). Now it works with no issues.

Hello, I am having trouble installing now. Notify that the password is incorrect. I've installed it once before. I cannot delete the original code. I have reinstalled it and it appears that it cannot be installed. What do i have to do
