Some quite strange ATC on on approach with this one.

A couple of times ATC said; 'Descend to...' but failed to provide the altitude they wanted.

Then they took me all round the houses to get to the route I was already on for runway 14.

I know its always my fault so can you have a look to tell me what I did wrong on this please.

I think I'm attaching the right log.

John

PS; Just had a thought. I was flying the Clean Air Duke with P3Dv4.2 which was hardly made for it was it?

I think the problem is your last waypoint (MGA) is only 10 miles from the destination airport, which is too close. For best results your last PF3 waypoint should be about 25-30 miles from the airport. I would drop MGA from the flight plan, so MAR (about 30 miles out) will be your last waypoint. (Optional: If you want you can also add SVL before MAR, so your last three waypoints would be SANTA SVL MAR.)

Strange that. You're right. I thought I had deleted that one! Thanks Dan.

I'll have to be more careful in future. I knew things were going to well!
