Hi.

Today I made a flight between KDEN and KJAC and at some point PF3 stopped controlling me. He didn't order me down, or contact me with another control center, or with an approach.

I'm enclosing the files in the logs folder to see what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you in advance.

I hit disconnect after flying over the airport from KJAC at FL400, when there was no flight plan to follow and after not knowing anything about the ATC for more than half an hour.

Ah right, I see the problem. You never hit your first waypoint and since you had SIDs active PF3 was waiting for you to reach that first waypoint.

Thank you very much for fix the problem.

I was so obsessed with the final part of the flight plan.... that I didn't think the problem was at the first point of the SID.

Thank you for your support and for your prompt response.

Regards!

Do you think this is acceptable ?

In MSFS today, I took a different taxi path to the runway...

...and it just stalled.

Pointless.

Why can't it just move on to the next stage ?

Once it stalls there is no recovering it.

May as well stop it.... in fact just uninstall it.

What a piece of rubbish.

It reminds me of learning BASIC from the 1980s... where if you don't loop back it just .... disappears.. into 1s and 0s land.

Roll on the new ATC program everyone is getting excited about.

Probably best then if you just uninstall it and wait for the new ATC program! This is a support forum for those (many) users who enjoy using PF3 and have done so for many years. If, however, you choose to continue using it please be more specific as to the problem you have and include your log files as per the red message above.

In the meantime I'll ask the question I asked in another of your rants which you have never answered. When did you purchase PF3?

Just two thoughts for you:

1) Do you know for sure that 'it just stalled'? We can't tell what it was doing as you haven't bothered to provide a log.
If you actually arrived at the holding point for the runway then you can request take-off clearance (tune to Tower and hit 6) and PF3 will synchronise.

2) You are probably aware that it is considered poor form to hijack someone else's thread - please raise your own problem reports in future.

Thanks,
Martin
