Well here's a longshot... as I said previously, my Win 10 system already has .NET 4.0.30319 installed, which is the minimum requirement for PF3 but I'm wondering if your problems are being caused by not having this installed at all.

.NET Framework 4 can be downloaded and installed from the following MS website if you fancy giving it a go

Nop, that's not the issue.

Install lock and say something like this: "1. Microsoft .NET framework 4 is already part of OS system. It is not necessary to install. 2. It is already installed same version or superior of .NET framework 4 in this pc".

And... BINGO! It works! I will try tomorrow flying again.

Systems are like women to me: sometimes get mad and you will never know why :D

Thank you very much Dave. You are the man.

Best regards,

Jorge.

Well, I can not tell for sure. I am a lawyer... ;)

Something like this:

1. Turn win 10 to a previous version (without creator).
2. Run net cleanup tool trying to uninstall .net framework 4.7; no success.
3. Uninstall win update KB40416764 (very important, I think).

At this point PF3 still do no work. I wondered if something in the default configuration was the problem. So, I created a new user, reinstall PF3 and adjust the addons (GSX, FSUIPC and so). Windows usually do what it please, and start updates without previous warning; to prevent that, I deactivate win updates under win services. And, voila! PF3 works perfectly.

I believe that you always was right, Dave. Creator was the problem. But something in default configuration blocked all modifications that I was trying to do. Making a new profile solved the problem.

One testing fly... all perfect. Back in business.

The important thing is that you were always here giving assistant Dave. You guided me somehow. So, thank you, thank you very much.

Cheers from a very satisfied customer,

Jorge

Hi,

Just as a matter of interest, I've had the very same problem following the Win10 features update. I restored a backup of my C drive and PF3 can now load the problem flightplan with no difficulty.

Jim

P.S. I was frustrated enough with these auto updates to upgrade my Home Edition to Pro. I'm pleased to have just deferred these updates for a long time!
