I'm sure someone can answer this. I think I've got something wron in my PFR settings but can't figure out what it is.

A zip of my flight this afternoon is attached.

All I want ot ask (and it happened on my last flight too) is why;
(a) I'm not getting navigational instructions to get on to the right bearing for landing.
(b) what do you suggest might be the cause that for my last two flights (both different), even though I have used two different aircraft, got them in the right position and altitude the AP doesn't operate.

If you could help, as usual, I'll be most grateful.

John

(a) you haven't attached the log file... you've attached the flight plan!!

(b) with some high-end third-party aircraft PF3 is not able to adjust the AP. Please specify which aircraft you are using and maybe someone with the same aircraft can confirm this. If it's a PMDG aircraft then we can access their AP.

As Dave said we need the log file to see exactly what is happening, but make certain the STARs box on the SID/STAR page is not ticked. If the box is ticked you will not get vectors to the final approach course and will instead be cleared at pilot's discretion.

That'll fix it thanks Dan. I had them both ticked for some reason. Haven't been able to try a flight yet but in view of your explanation I'm sure that was the problem.
