yes, i'm using the most recent, correct MakeRWYs for P3Dv4, i also installed Lorbi's Addon Organzier as this seems to be a requirement to capture sceneries installed with addon.xml's

I'll double check my regional settings and set them to UK to test. So we can tick this one off as well.

checked my regional settings and it was set to UK already.

Two things:

Can anyone suggest a free flight planning tool where its known that it works perfectly with PF3? Even though FPs from different sources are failing i'd like to rule out any issue with flight plan creation

Could someone please attach a FP thats working fine on their PF3. I'd like to see if i can open it.

Thanks everyone
Lars

What happens if you use the default flight planner?

i didnt create a plan from scratch in P3D, but what i did was injecting an FP into P3Dv4 using Aivlasoft EFB, and then saved the FP in P3Dv4 again and tried to open the new save in PF3, same issue, FPP error.

Okay, but please try creating a FP with the default planner and if that works then we are a little nearer to explaining why you have a problem

Here is a set of three plans (all using the same route) I often use for testing PF3:
EDDPEDDG01.pln - IFR at 12000 feet (low altitude airways)
EDDPEDDG01-VFR.pln - VFR at 12000 feet (don't try this at home, kids :))
EDDPEDDG02.pln - IFR at 22000 feet (high altitude airways)

Lars
I'm using SimBrief.com
Once generated, I'll download the EFB version of the plan and then I'll add a STAR to the plan with EFB if required and save it

EDIT: doh, didn't realize this was almost a month old topic
