Do you have a problem 'starting' PF3, because it would make no difference which version of FS you are running when starting PF3, or do you have a problem when attempting to 'connect' to FS?

Please ZIP all the log files in your PF3/Logs folder so we can take a look at whats happening

Yes the program starts fine. It crashes connecting to P3dV4. As I said earlier it works fine with P3dv3. Please find attached logs. Thank you for your help!

I have seen some people having trouble with makerwys. Especially as in P3D v4 the file system has been changed. I believe you need MakeRunways 4.70

I did use MakeRunways 4.70. I remember the the first time I ran it through PF3 it didn't work (I don't remember the error, sorry) so I then put the MakeRunways file in the P3Dv4 folder and ran it there manually. It worked. I then tried to connect PF3 to P3Dv4 again and PF3 didn't connect. Then I ran the MakeRunways file again inside PF3. The second time MakeRunways completed inside PF3 without error but it's still not connecting to P3Dv4.

I got really tired last night. Ill delete all the files MakeRunways created and try to recompile them tonight. Fwiw Radar Contact is working. That is why I'm kinda lost. Could Ultimate traffic Live be messing it up? Just thinking out loud.

Thank you

Please email me direct and I'll give you an interim version to try as I've had correspondence from another P3D V4 user with the same problem. I've given him another version to try but as yet have not heard back but I'm pretty confident I've fixed the issue.

I'm running into the same problem with PF3 in P3Dv4. I have the registered version of FSIUPC5 and Makerunways 4.70. I can select a flightplan but when I select Connect to FS the program crashes. This happens with or without UTLive running. I'm also able to use Radar Contact with P3Dv4.

Good news is PF3 is now working well with P3D V4, but at the end of the day it's all down to Pete Dowson's magic!
