How about larger fonts for the UI? While clear, the text is smallish for older folks. The ability to maximize it would be helpful.

Anything in particular or the whole package? If the latter that is a mammoth task and not one I would wish to undertake I'm afraid... approaching 73 I'm one of the older folk!

Hi Dave,
As someone who is only one year younger than you, I feel your pain. If possible, perhaps a button that turns on windows magnifier might be a good compromise. I often use it, and it brings PF3 to a very comfortable size. What makes this approach a bit of a nuisance is that at times I can't find the delete button.

Hello Dave,

there is one thing I wish for a long time: I always use the 'FP Adjustment' window to delete a too close waypoint in my flight plan ! Unfortunately this is not always very easy - besides I always have to open a second program (like 'littlenavmap') to see the distances between the waypoints !
I think it would be a great thing, if the distances to the previous waypoint could be displayed in the 'FP Adjustment' window !
That would be a huge relief for a quick flightplan correction :D
Do you think that this is feasible ?

regards

That's already available... just hover your mouse over the waypoint and a little window will open showing such info

Ha ha. It is probably the best user guide I have ever seen! I even printed the whole thing off once and read it from cover to cover but I couldn't do that for each change. Fortunately the most recent edition is always easily searched digitally.

But that's not my point for coming in here - I have another feature request. Maybe the way things work under the covers it couldn't be implemented, but it would be mightily handy if you could change your callsign and flight number after the flight has been loaded. Once in a blue moon, I forget to change it at start-up and end up announcing myself as Ethiopian Airlines when in Australia, or similar. Unless I have, cough, missed something in the manual, once you are connected you are stuck with what you have.

Best regards,

John

Simply because of your first statement I'm going to have to think of some way to do this.

Certainly couldn't allow it once you 'connect' to FS but maybe I could display it somewhere so you could easily see it?

Yes, I guess if it was prominent, perhaps on the screen with the connect button, there is a good chance I would spot it - that's a good idea.

Six inch high flashing multicoloured letters accompanied by an audio fanfare would be just the thing for me! :)
