What are you saying ?
The TGS.exe is started automatically ?
Which TGS version does this concern ? THE TGS GAUGE or THE STANDALONE TGS DISPLAY (because that's what I mean) ?
That would be wonderful, exactly what I want :-)
In all the years I use pf3, this has never happened !?
What do I have to set there to start the program automatically ?

please help !

regards

I'm saying TGS.EXE, which provides you with taxi instructions, is started automatically by PF3 after you receive taxi instructions. This is not the TGS Display utility (TGS_Display.exe) nor the gauge.

Ah Ok, I see... there I made a little mistake...
I mean of course the file 'TGS_Display.exe' !
That would be a great thing if it could open and close automatically !

Why not use FSUIPC to start it?

Because FSUIPC does not recognize when I got the 'taxi instructions' and when I got the 'takeoff release' ;-)

Since PF3 forces the flight sim to be in windows mode in order to "connect to flight sim", it would be great if at least the disconnect button would show up in Windows Toolbar. Better yet, it would be great if PF3 would automatically disconnect once the aircraft engages the parking brake. Currently, PF3 forces the user to minimize the flight sim in order to access the connect/disconnect button. tony

PF3 doesn't force FS into windows mode at all.

Hi Dave,
Your are correct. I did not mean to state that Pf3 forces msfs into windows mode. Rather, the user's procedure to "connect to the sim" and "disconnect to the sim" is such that the user needs to place msfs in windows mode and minimize it in order to access PF3 button.

I generally fly in full windows mode. So when I am done flying, I first switch msfs into windows mode, minimize it, press the "disconnect to the sim"button, close the sim, then close Pf3.

I have PF3 in my Start Menu. A simple case of Alt Tab once opened.

Hi. Just wondering if there's any way PF3 could check a flight plan (for waypoints too close etc) when you initially load the plan (while you're setting up the flight and the sim is not yet running) rather than after you connect to the sim (when you have to disconnect PF3, 'wind down' your flight and investigate what's wrong)?
