I don't know if my memory is getting worse as I get older...
...I just can't remember how it used to be!

But it only does it (no?) after you connect PF3 to the sim, not when you first load up the plan. Or is my memory playing me false (wouldn't be for the first time!!)? If so, everyone, forget that I spoke! ;)

No, it definitely checks the FP *before* you connect to the FS.
I tend to load PF3 while I'm waiting for MSFS to load, and that gives me the option of updating the FP before I need to select it in MSFS.

Another example of how features are added to PF3 before you even get round to requesting them!

Yeah, version 3.10.0, released 13th December 2020
Quote:
ADDED a new feature - when loading a flight plan that has waypoints too
close together you receive a warning message. This message can now be
redisplayed when you select 'Waypoint Removal' mode on the Altitude
Adjustments page. When selected a new button named 'Recheck waypoint
integrity' will be enabled, but only if a message has been previously
displayed for the currently loaded flight plan. Please note, this message IS
dynamic and you can use it to check all necessary changes have been
made.

As WebDisplay is basically an integral part of the PF3 release why not make an option in PF3 to start the WebDisplay server
when connecting PF3 to the Flight Sim?
This could be practical for those flying in Full Screen mode because you have to wait until PF3 is connected to the FS before you start the server, if you start to early then after 5 tries the WDserver times-out.
Cheers,
Luc
