I just wanted to report that I just had a very nice and eventful flight:
Starting at EDDP, I changed the weather to historical weather from the previous Wednesday, so thunderstorms and heavy rain mixed with high temperature and changing winds later in the flight, but it started in nice weather with just some lightning in the distance, flying into the sunset with a red sky.
During cruise both engines of my C337 failed for an unknown reason at FL120, probably changing weather conditions requiring a richer mixture, and before being able to turn start them again I lost about 1500 feet.
Later the airspeed indicator was no longer able to show a useful value, maybe because I forgot to turn on pitot heat again after restarting the engines? I'm not sure if that is even simulated in FSX and this aircraft.
During the approach to EDDG, the runway changed twice. After one missed approach due to being too high after a late change to the nearer side of the runway, I descended on ILS and autopilot, but at some point the autopilot could no longer counteract the gusty cross-winds, so I had to take over and manually land the aircraft.
The poor marshaller at my parking position did not even have a hat, he must be soaked to the bone now
Conclusion: Don't try this when not at home!
