Hi everyone,

So one thing I really miss from flying VFR with PF3 is dealing with various airspaces.
In particular requiring clearance to transition class B airspace (and in some countries also class C).
Now a full implementation of this is probably not in scope for PF3 simply because it would mean introducing airspace awareness and I understand that the main selling point of PF3 is IFR.

I would like to propose at least some option to manually dial in an approach frequency and request a clearance to transition through B airspace. Even if in the end I have to report leaving the B airspace myself it would still be great. It could work with any approach frequency close to the aircraft so that it is not necessary tracking airspace boundaries and what class they are.
So just some basic option that you can choose to use (independent of flight following), or whatever is the easiest to create an illusion of having the option to request that clearance.

What do you think?

Best,

David

Any consideration is highly appreciated :)
Decided to buy PF3 now in any case as it definitely is already a great product and I like the support forum :)
