Since I installed yesterday's update, I am getting ATC's descent instructions repeated over and over, every 20 or 30 seconds, even though I am already complying and descending. I can hear the same instruction two dozen times before I get to the altitude, when it then stops. It has happened on all three flights I have flown since I installed the update... Anyone else have the same issue?

And just landing at EHAM, instructed to land on runway 27, I find as I touch down that a/c are actually queued and taking off from runway 9 - one comes right at mew. An FS9 issue??

Will attach log in a momnet, when I've closed FS9

Martin

Hi Martin, one of the testers has identified this as well. Being looked into. Thanks for the heads-up and for your patience.

OK, I won't bother with the log unless you need it then. Thanks Dan. It's sometimes a bit frustrating seemingly to have an issue of some sort almost every flight, but then again I suppose all the things that go right (so many more than go wrong) tend to be taken for granted, and remain unnoticed! As long as it's OK to keep posting my comments like this, I am happy to help with any teething problems of course.

Zip and save it just in case. No need to attach unless Dave needs it.

Edit: Unfortunately it is often the case that fixing an issue causes an unintended change elsewhere in the programme. Dave always gets it sorted.

OK, fine. (I guess the wrong runway instruction is not under PF3's control?).

OK, I see this is mentioned in the PF3 manual, pp.141-142.

To avoid this, it is necessary to use the "suppression" options according to the type of flight/aircraft.
In Active Sky, I can't locate that option in the interface, but I haven't searched the AS user manual yet.. my next step!

Really looking forward to the repeated descent instructions being eliminated in a forthcoming update - I'm having to switch radio frequencies to shut them up meanwhile! :)

A quick web search suggests that this is only available in Active Sky Next (added in ASN SP1).

Should be with you later this evening, just having the guys use it for a while to make sure I haven't broken something else ;)
