Hi Dave,

I'm not sure how possible this might be in a future update. I have flown to a few places now where the FAF height and Distances have been different at either end of the runway, EGKK being my main example.

Could there, or would there be the possibility under the SIDS and stars section to have a place to enter FAF alt and distance's. Rather like we can for the trans and go around height.

I know there's an option at the bottom for FAF info, but I had planned for a 26L landing which is 2000ft and 5.5 miles FAF and got 08R which was 3000ft and 8.6 miles. So I ended up way below GP for my approach based on my expected 26L landing.

Unless there is another way to get around this? Anyway just a thought of mine, but not sure how achievable it would be.

Regards Rob

Thanks Rob, I've put it on my don't-forget-to-have-a-look-at-this list :)

This did come up during the beta but Dave at the time didn't think he could fit it in. That said, there is a way of calculating the FAF distance which Dave when he has time, might look at again. ROUND((((FAF QNH-airfield elevation)/3)/100)-3,0). The only problem with this formula is that it assumes a 3deg glideslope. So airports that don't have a 3deg glideslope LOWI for example would return a wrong value. It is possible in the sim to determine the angle of a glideslope using a gauge element but there's no way of passing that information to PF3. But this would work for the majority of airports.
