Hi. I keep getting directed to "Runway Zero" by ATC for take-off. At various airports - KMIA is the latest just now (I have a 3rd. party scenery - not sure which at the time of writing this).

I have v3.0.3, I have run MakeRunways and I have updated the PF3 database. So why are a number of airports apparently empty of runway data?

Thanks,

Martin

------------------------------------

The Runways.csv file shows this:

KMIA 80 25.802809 -80.301208 8 92 8450 0
KMIA 91 25.800638 -80.301163 8 92 10506 110.3
KMIA 92 25.785894 -80.31485 8 92 12993 110.9
KMIA 120 25.799103 -80.30191 8 124 9354 108.9
KMIA 260 25.803968 -80.275497 8 272 8450 0
KMIA 271 25.78768 -80.275314 8 272 12993 109.5
KMIA 272 25.802145 -80.269196 8 272 10506 109.1
KMIA 300 25.786476 -80.2771 8 304 9354 111.7

and the runways.txt (runways section) this (not sure what to post re. PF3's data on this):

We saw this during the beta and it was due to a corrupt data file, please try rebuild the PF3 database again

OK, will do. I should try running MakeRunways.exe again (before updating PF3), no? I'll do that then rebuild the PF3 database and see what happens.

I still occasionally get this even though I update makerunways and the PF3 database quite regularly. I will write down all future examples...

Are you getting it consistently at the same airport or at different airports? Presumably the rwy heading should be 36. As stated above the only time I had it was due to a corrupt file and re running makerwys and updating PF3 cured it. I regularly fly into Torino which has rwy 36 with differing fpls and only had this issue once.

If it re occurs check your afcad then run makerwys then update PF3. Close it and re open. My version of makerwys is 4.6

I'm not sure I'm afraid as I haven't written down the last few times where it happened.. I will make full notes next time it happens!
