Hi Dave,

In this specific case I turned off the taxiway onto the apron and I must have been immediately within 50 meters of the gate already so not sure which of the two gates ahead of me I was suppose to go to.

The error messages always seem to come up behind other windows that are open on the screen. I always have the key press window, the closed caption window, and the screen that shows all ATC commands to me open. I didn't see the error window until I closed the other windows at the end of my flight so I don't know when the message came up. I don't recall, however I may have closed FSX prior to closing PF3 at the end of my flight. Would that generate an error?

Dave

Yes, PF3 doesn't like you closing FS before you hit disconnect.

As I say, the log ends abruptly so I can't tell if you actually contacted Ground control and received taxi instructions to the gate?

Thanks Dave.
I believe I had contacted ground and was given taxi instruction. When I turned off the taxi way and on to the apron perhaps since I was so close to the gate I got no further instruction.
Over the next couple of flights, I will see how it goes. Seem to have everything else sorted out so will let you know how things work.

Take care
dave
