So if PF3 is changing the frequency it's working, isn't it? Something else is changing then back and it's not PF3

No, it's not PF3. It's the IOCModules-script that's interacting with FSX (this would work with any aircraft) that changes back the frequency to what I had dialed in.But for PF3 to stay on the frequency it has dialed in, the script can't run so I can't use my radio's.

Well I'd love to help but not sure what I could do or even what you think I could do. If you have some script running that keeps switching the frequency back there's not really much I can do. Is there no way you can disable the script when using PF3's VCP? I really don't know anything about your particular setup or how it hangs together. If there's anything you think I can do I'd be more than happy to work with you but I'm afraid you'd be in the driving seat.

There are some hints at http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/archive ... 22830.html ... basically:
Don't use IOCmodules.exe, install SIOC version 3.7 or newer, write your own SIOC script.

(you can probably see your problem even without PF3 by changing the frequency in the virtual cockpit)

Well, it'll probably boil down to "don't use your open cockpit radios" or "don't use the VCP modes"
I'm definitely not going to learn SIOC :D
Thanks everybody for your help and advice.
