The instructions at the top of the SID/STAR page say that the min FAF altitude is set in feet AGL...I had that set to 3500 at KJAC, and it cleared me to finals with a descent to 3500 ft (field elevation is 6451).

That leads me to believe min FAF altitude should be set as MSL and not AGL.

Regards

Bob Scott

Yes feet AGL is incorrect it should be QNH
But first you should check the FAP on the charts for KJAC try inputing 9,700ft and see how that goes. Or you could try the MSA instead.

This has already been addressed/noted. The default value in the tweaks page adds the airport elevation. This is an allowance for users who don't bother to input everything. Thus giving them a fighting chance that they won't scratch the paintwork.
Dave has it already on his list of to dos if not already done (if done the text AGL needs to be changed to QNH) that any value input in the FAF altitude box in the SID/STAR page and also the Map altitude are just that. In other words to take those input numbers an apply them as read. Altitude is QNH. If my first suggestion doesn't work change your FAF altitude in the tweaks page and re-run your fpl.
