Hi

is there any way to adjust the vertical speed when using CP3 mode? I find 2500 fpm a bit too much when flying a cessna. i would much prefer something around 700 fpm.

Many thanks
John

I thought this was setup in your aircraft profile, where you also set the climb rate, descent rate and APP Speed :?:

I have setup for the Q400, so hoping the CP does not override these setting

Yes, on the 'Load a Flight Plan' page you have the option to create a profile, where you can set the airport type, rate of climb/descent and approach speed. You can save it with any name you like but perhaps you might like to save it as 'Cessna', so each time you fly that bird you just select the preset. If you fly that aircraft all the time you can make this preset the dafault so you don't have to select it each time.

It is all explained in the User Guide

But this isn't working when the copilot is P.I.C. - he overrides your settings with 2500, regardless what you have entered.

Well the next time that happens please email all the files in your PF3\Logs folder with details about when it occurs, to help me find it in the log, and I'll see what's happening. Not seen any such problem during our testing.

What I can tell you is that if you have the copilot on PTC mode right from the beginning, everything is ok (just tried it), but when you switch to it midflight, I think then it happens. Let me veryfiy this next flight.
