I always use the default aircraft to try out new apps to keep things simple. Here's a strange one.... After contacting Clearance and receiving altitude, squawk, etc., the hydraulic systems in the 737 no longer function (can't raise or lower flaps and gear). I've tested it out and it's repeatable... before contacting clearance, flaps raise and lower normally - after contacting clearance, the flaps freeze in the raised position. Could PFE be sending some obscure instruction through WideFS? I looked in my FSX key assignments and no hotkeys are assigned to the hydraulic systems.

MD

Is any of the hotkeys clashing in FSX and PF3,could try re-assigning them in either programme, see if that helps

I don't have any hotkeys assigned to hydraulics. Thinking it must be an internal parameter being passed by PF3 through WideFS into FSUIPC.

Not that this helps your situation other than I fly the default 737 and have no problems with hydraulics so I guess it must be something in your set up.

Thanks RustyDog. To help me identify the issue - Are you running PF3 on your flightsim machine or via an external client?

Really? I use it over a network all the time. What exactly is the problem your experiencing? :?

It comes up with an error window reading error loading flightplan. Can,t remember the exact wording. Tried uninstalling. then reboot. Uninstall anti virus. reboot. Reinstall PF3 same problem. I did try to read flightplan from FSX pc as it ought but to no avail and so Then moved flight plans to Docs on networked pc and tried again. still get error. As an aside can you activate/deactivate unlimited times as I have to do this to keep experimenting to find the problem. I run it on the FSX pc to fly and then deactivate to try on the network pc again. I don't want to run out of activations. Thanks
