Hi guys

Does PF3 support VFR flight? I had a quick scan of the manual but could find no reference to it.

Many thanks
John

Yes it does support VFR (flight following)

From the manual:
Quote:
PF3
supports both IFR and VFR flights.
The manual has lots of references to VFR. Do a search of VFR with the PDF (Ctrl-F)

Kevin

I'm shouting!!! I am unsure of procedures. Just did a fight from a non controlled airport to another non controlled airport. I am using CP mode 3. Do I have to switch freq's to control, multicom/approach etc or will the CP do it all for me? In the flight I did, the CP seemed to be very quite.

Many thanks for the help.

John

ps, after a few flights on the demo, I am starting to get the hang of it and like this.

Hi John, first off, glad to see you're starting to get the hang of the programme - it's does become very addictive ;)

You have to physically make that initial frequency change to contact Control, Multi/Unicom - after that, the VCP should earn his keep and take over (in mode 3) ;)
If he doesn't, wait until you're at a high enough altitude, then throw him out......

hth ;)
