Post subject:  Mystery sound
Hi Dave,
I'm trying to track a mystery sound file.
The sound has a voice which says "Baggage handling complete, aircraft clear". or words very similar.
I cant trace the program which is playing this file.
Does FDC have such a file which plays when indeed baggage handling is complete.
As you know the sound files for FDC are in titled shorthand code and short of going through every one and listening I don't know if it is an FDC file.

That certainly doesn't sound (excuse the pun) like an FDC file that I remember, but then it was about 20 years ago when I put the list together!

If memory serves me right there's a list of sound file content at the end of the FDC user guide pdf so you could do a search. I'm not near my pc right now so can't check myself. Let me know if/when you find the culprit. Maybe you've just been using FS to much ;-)

That's a file played by GSX. I replaced the suppled GSX pack with a UK voiced package (not sure where I downloaded it from) I get that message in the new UK accent when passengers have been unloaded. The baggage may still be being unloaded so I think it is playing prematurely.

Found the little devil.
After GSX saying it wasn't one of theirs it turns out it was. Sort of...…it is a replacement sound file with English accents, so possibly reused a sound file title.
I have attached it if you were interested.
But the title is hardly a give away. :lol:
