Purchased FDC but when I attempt to connect to FSX I get the message not enough hotkey slots for this application.

There are two main reason why you might receive this error message..... the first and most uncommon is you are running a lot of addons that use the FSUIPC hotkey facility and have exceeded the maximum hotkeys allowed. Second, and more common, is you have another recurring problem and you are restarting FDC three or four times and the error continues to display a message until eventually you get the 'not enough hotkeys'

So, assuming the most common cause.....

1. Do you have the latest version of FSUIPC installed?
2. What version of FDC are you running?
3. Where have you installed FDC?
4. What version of Windows are you running?
5. Has FDC ever worked for you?
6. Do you see any other messages before the hotkey message appears?

Thanks Dave for the reply. Have it sorted out sort of, cleared the profiles for my Saitek yoke and Game pad and FDC connected. Now have a new problem. I'm unable to get FDC to detect any device. So as to your inquiry

1. FSUIPC version 4939e
2. FDC version 3.14
3. FDC installed on client machine C:/Aerosoft/FDC running WideClient 6.999m
4. Windows 7 64 bit both server and client
5. Haven't gotten past options controller detection
6. No other messages.
FSUIPC shows Saitek rudder pedals in the #0 slot of controller assignment so I unplugged the rudder pedals and rebooted which put my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle into the #0 spot. Still refuses to recognize the controller.

FDC will only use the #0 slot, but why it doesn't recognise your particular device I have no idea. Have you tried rebooting after swapping your devices?

Yes, No luck. Does FDC need to connect to a controller or can it be run just using hotkeys? I have ample controller buttons to use the hot keys.
