Dave Leesley has started putting together some great tutorial videos...

'TGS Installation'
'Installing PFE'
'Rebuilding the PFE Database'
'Creating a basic ADV File'
'SIDs and STARs for the Advanced User'

and more to follow (I hope) ;-)

The link to these and future tutorials can be found HERE

The prolific Mr Leesley has created some more videos, this time showcasing the use of PFE and FDC together:-

1 of 4 - Startup and Taxi

2 of 4 - Departing Glasgow

3 of 4 - Approaching Manchester

4 of 4 - Taxi to parking and shutdown

The original PFE videos are still available too, also created by Dave Leesley

Video #1 - Startup through Taxi

Video #2 - Climbing to FL360

Video #3 - Atlantic crossing

Video #4 - Descent and Approach

Video #5 - Final Approach and Parking

I'm sorry, but I didn't know if I could post a replay to this topic here, but I wanted to know if there was a tutorial video with voice over narration that would help explain what's on the screen. I can't hardly see the printed text, and before I purchase the program which it seems that requires an extensive learning curb, I would like to know how easy it will be to follow the installation and set up procedure. I would like to know, because unlike Flight1's policy, I didn't see one here that guarantees your money back if it doesn't work or you don't like it.

I'm sure it has to be a good product, as I'm already enjoying FDC Live Cockpit 2011, and would like to join another product made by you guys, but never the less not all two products are always the same.

Hi,

I could make one, but I don't have FRAPS and the last thing you want to hear is me speaking English, so in few words my thoughts on application: installation is as easy as it can be, with exception of the fact that you will probably need to install additional sound files missing from the installer, you'll find these files in this thread. Set up process is little complicated because you need first to have a flight plan ready, then convert it to FS2000 file, then compile it to PFE plan, then set up altitudes, SID's, STARS etc and you'll be ready to go, sounds scary but the end effect is cool and after few attempts it becomes very easy, I think this process could or even should be automated, maybe in some future version, I hope ;) PFE also doesn't see any traffic on ground, I'm getting takeoff and landing clearances with other aircraft on runway etc, so application needs some improvements, but still the advantage over default ATC is huge.

Regards,
