Post subject:  PFE error response connecting to FSX

Help please. I purchased PFED and the voice expansion for FSX many years ago and never got time to really use it.
Now decided to try again but have come unstuck as follows:
I have installed both purchases and been able to convert a flight plan and import it to PFE.
I then start FSX, in PFE I select new adventure, followed by load.
In FSX a text line appears saying

"FSUIPC display, PFE has a problem and will disconnect"

That is as far as I can go?

Is this a known problem and what do I do to resolve it please?
Am using FSX SP2. PFE log attached.

Thanks James

08/05/2020 13:31:42: 140 - FS Screen : ****** PFE has a problem and will disconnect! ******
08/05/2020 13:32:22: 230 - Unable to access Kneeboard file due to a path error (see next entry)
08/05/2020 13:32:22: 230 - Path used:
08/05/2020 13:32:22: 240 - PF Loop Exited due to FS Disconnected!
08/05/2020 13:32:22: 240 - ****** PFE Disconnected from FS
So it seems PFE can't find a path and exits.

I have never seen this problem, but I haven't used PFE in a long time.

Maybe you can try the PF3 demo and see if that fails, too?

Problem solved. I uninstalled/reinstalled then rebuilt the database.

Fixed it thanks. I had tried the reinstall and updated the database but I missed that I had to locate the runways.csv file in FSX so the update never completed.
All good now and thanks for your help!
