Hello all!

First of all Dave, great piece of Software - fantastic! Brings me back to the days of Pro Flight 2000 again, which is truly enjoyable and beats the default roboticy sounding ATC voices of FSX.

Quesiton however - I am trying to do a flight from PLPA (Palmyra) to Pago Pago - (A round the world flight) I've gotten ProFlight to load up, however, the starting airport does NOT have a taxi way, parking area, etc. Only has the Runway for the active. How can I get it so that the Copilot will request IFR Take off clearance from center?

I know I read that it detects from up to 700' away from the active, but the flight starts on the active.

Thanks for your help,

John

Hi John,

It makes no difference where you start.... I do a lost of flights during testing starting from the runway. SImply contact Clearance in the normal way

Thanks Dave, that's what I thought - I must be doing something wrong with the assignments or choices. I'll have to try it again - I'll let you know how I make out here in the forums so we don't leave open an unecessary support thread.

Thanks,

John

Dave, Finally got it working again. Come to find out, I believe it was the aircraft. The aircraft was a freeware with no radio panel in the panel, so I guess it couldn't tune, reach anything with out it. All's okay now....

Thanks,

John

No problem at all David, glad I could let you all know in case someone experiences a similar problem. Love doing the Round the World flight now with Different Accents, it's fantastic! Glad I also upgraded to that 1TB hard drive to handle the data with the voices, too
