Hi, can anyone help?

I have downloaded ProFlight Emulator2000 Deluxe from the Aerosoft website.

I have installed the program and followed the set up instructions to the letter. Every time I try to connect PFE to Flight Sim9 I get an error message saying 'ProFlight has encountered a problem and needs to close.'.

I have been onto the Aerosoft forum site and so far there is no solution to my problem.

I have re-installed the program and noticed that Norton 360 picks up on two things:

1 - there is a message pops up - 'Backdoor.formador'. This has been stopped.
2 - another message pops up - 'suspicious.MH690.A.' This has been stopped.

The program installs but after following all instructions I find I am still at the same stage- PFE will not connect to FS9.

I have looked at other posts on this site and found one that mentions Norton removes a couple of files from PFE. One from the main PFE folder and the other from Windows System32. I have checked and both files are where they should be.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

I would suggest when you install PFE you close down all other applications... in particular any security produst and most definitely Norton. You then need to tell Norton to keep the &^%$ away from the PFE folders
