Ok the program works perfect up until the takeoff hold short line...
when i get there the message says tgs off and tower frequency is tuned...but when i hit the 0 key to get takeoff clearance...atc gives me taxi clearance again like it first did at the gate instead of takeoff clearance...

Yes I have...but the manual only depicts VCP mode handling all comms...I have VCP set to Mode 1, VCP handling Freq changes only...so how do I get takeoff clearance?...when I hot the 0 key it keeps getting taxi clearance even though i'm tuned to tower and ready to go...

You're using the wrong hotkey. When tuned to Tower hotkey 0 is initial checking, ready to taxi. To checking ready for takeoff it's hotkey 6.

ProFlight Commands used in PFE

PFE Default settings require you to use the Ctrl+Shift+ key combination together with one of the keys listed below EXCEPT for keys 0 thru 9 the ROGER key and the 'H' and 'L' keys, which only require a single keypress. Eg. For Virtual Co-Pilot mode use Ctrl+Shift+V but for Initial Check In you only need to use the zero key and to Roger ATC you use the '\' key

Also, Is there a window to show PFE ATC text...the green tape shows it but it also shows METAR and AI Smooth info which I'd like to not see...

You can use the Remote Text program included with PFE.

Or alternatively this small piece of Python code. Replace 'localhost' with the hostname of your FSX/PFE computer if you want to run it on a different computer or even your smartphone, tablet or ebook reader, if you can install Python on it:
