Do I have to buy a new copy for P3D, or can I apply my FSX purchase?

Ok I set the profile to 4 and it works! Yes there are 5 detents, but the first one is slats, and the next 4 are flaps...I guess FDC only knows flaps!

Ive tried all suggestions...it keeps saying 0.

I would love to! How do I check your profile? Do you mean that you have an Md11 profile that might work with the 717?

No. I uninstalled the P3D FDC...and reinstalled FDC from scratch as normal for FSX Steam.

Now it wont connect to fsx steam.
I just upgraded to a new computer so i can run p3d and fsx steam.

I havent been able to get fdc to work in either one.

FDC wont connect to fsx steam, or crashes just after loading.

I'm trying to make a profile for the TFDI 717...It keeps saying that the panel is set to 0. I tried deleting the flaps section but that didnt work. I checked and FDC profile shows 8, and there are 8 flap positions in the AC as well. In the past a flap mismatch message would show when I tried to connect...FDC connects Ok, it just quits when the FO tries to set them. Hi. FDC disconnected when it was time to set flaps on taxi. Im using the default 737 800 FDC set with the PMDG 737 800 on P3d V4.5.
