I seem to be monopolising this forum rather (sorry!!), but as I solve one 'problem' I seem to get a new one! Now, when Flightdeck callouts get to an interactive setting that is not correct, I still get the green info band saying to 'correct the checklist item' but pressing Shift+Esc no longer works....

LATER ... Yes, I have no flap calls in any aircraft now....

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am not sure I really understand it I'm afraid. When I click 'Options' on the main screen and click 'Select Aircraft', I get a two or three dozen a/c in the drop-down box to choose from, including one for 'User: Skysims MD11' - which I can use as the MD11 profile to ...

I've searched the forum, and searched for the word 'flaps' in all the FDC pdf documents (so many entries!) before posting here - if the answer is there somewhere, please do tell me, but I can't find it and my head is spinning now! Can I specify how flaps are called on an aircraft by aircraft basis? ...

Ok Dave, thanks: if the problem comes back I will try that. What is the 3rd. party option for then - in the video tutorials available for creating performance files, Dave implies (or says, I don't recall now) that for none 'native' FS a/c the 3rd. party option should be checked..
