After the 9 May update I flew RJGG to RKPC on FL240 IFR. First, the ATIS at RJGG: I start ASN weather first and then P3D, so I expect P3D to have to correct weather atm startup. The PF3 ATIS gives me RWY36 with winds 160/06 and the correct QNH. Later, the Taxi instructions are for the RWY18, so corr...

@vololiberista The route you mentioned is exactly what came out the first time. Not really a problem when you fly big iron, but a bit overdone if you fly something like The Duke. Indeed, I have updated using this: http://www.aero.sors.fr/index.html . I've got everything updated until Navograph's 16...

I'll get to the bottom of this in a few testflights as soon as I have time to do it. If it's not the 'one RWY to land on with a 6 kts tailwind' that caused this to happen, it's worth the time for sure. But first I'll give the reason why I made the flight PASY to UHPP for the second time. After all,...

If that is true, how on earth could I have landed a few days ago on 34R?
By the way... there was no AI active and the wind was 160 at 6.

At UHPP (Kamchatka, Russia) RWY 34L-16R is closed (according to Navigraph) and RWY34R is the only RWY to land on. So I coded the 34L and 16R as 'X', the 16L as 'T' and the 34R was left as 'B'. When I dialed in the ATIS the 'No suitable runways' message was displayed. Further in the flight, probably ...

Thank you. Correct!

That is.... for the title of the post and the first question.

That leaves me with my second question.
How do I cancel IFR (see description above) when I am in an IFR flight from a mega intl. airport to an uncontrolled airstrip with only multicom/unicom.

When I depart from an airport with only a multicom frequency using an IFR flightplan I need to know the control centre's frequency to activate my flight plan. This is how I do it now: Simply create a FSS frequency for the departing AP if it does not exist. Then after 'leaving the area' dial in the F...

[quote="TheDuke"]May I suggest to put this info in the manual? Of course it is in the manual. What I mean is, that the manual has a sequential, functional structure. Given the huge amount of information that's in there, it is easy to overlook items. A more situational approach would...

Thanks for the explanation. May I suggest to put this info in the manual? In the time I was flying VFR and IFR from an airport with Tower only, I was used to 'request startup' so this was part of my way of doing things. That got in the way. Probably not SOP, but I was accustomed to do so. Could this...

I have the bullet on "Always on start only" on the Option#1 page (Push & Start section) and VCP in mode 2. After listening to the ATIS I select the Clearance frequency, hit hotkey zero and get my Clearance. I see the VCP has set the squak and I set up the AP. Then I switch to Tower (no...
