Your were correct on all points. The same flight plan worked flawlessly, except for TG simply not coming on both during departure and arrival.
I can live without TG for the moment. Thanks again for your help.

Perhaps the reason why I've had so much trouble with TG is the fact that often I find that the program still resides in ram after I've exited Pf3. I can only remove it by ending the task in process screen. tony

My current version is 3.16, yet there appears to be a maintenance version 3.19 that can only be installed via the update option in v 3.16. When I click the "check for updates", the message tells me that there are no updates available.
How do I get to 3.19? thanks
