Glad to be of help. Its a great piece of software. Not perfect but pretty damn close. I use it with the Randomizer to give that extra variety. Happy flying. Steve.

If you use a 3rd party airport like uk2000 it can take a long time to get your taxi instructions. I often wait 2,3,4 or more minutes at Heathrow uk2000. Its busy and lots of taxiways to sift through.... and yes I'm sometimes late taking off so I usually add extra time when landing or departing Heath...

I was at 280 for some time and thought I was forgotton, would this cause this problem ?

I will try again and report.

Thanks
Did you remember to set your altimeter to standard pressure above 10,000ft. I've forgotten to do that before.

This only occurs in rare situations but as a workaround, until this is fixed in an upcoming release: If you get an errant "Maintain current heading" or "Maintain heading xxx" call AFTER you have been cleared for an approach at pilot's discretion, hit hotkey 1 to re-request the c...

Thanks all for the helpful advice and explanations. I can see now how PF3 can be out foxed. Assuming FSX sets initial wind to 000 or 360 while loading weather Ai could easily be assigned Rwy 34 and if far out then yes anomolies would seem to appear. Knowing this helps a lot in planning and the sugge...

Thanks for looking into this Dave and the explanation. Very interesting that 34 got assigned as active at the most inopportune moment. Especially as no ai took off or landed at that time. But hey we like life to be interesting. Thanks again. Regards Steve.

I wonder if the attached logs might be of any use in the ever present runway selection hiccups. Most of the time things are fine but at times........well......hmmmm! Tonights flight from Aberdeen to Manchester PMDG 738 was interesting. Aberdeen weather set by AS16 winds around 130hdg. Ai took off fr...
