From PFE_v2.12.pdf:
Quote:
Prior to compiling your flight plan, be sure you have set the "Contact Center Altitude".
Where is this setting? How to set it?

Thanks,
Sabre.

Have you checked in FS to make sure they are not duplicating somewhat Yes, of course, first thing after reinstall of FSX I release all default bindings, then build up my own assignments map. Numeric assignments you make in PFE have no bearing in-game (networked configuration). The program expects y...

Thanks for the ideas... I must admit all I do is use the FSUIPC ZAP option if anyone's in my way ;-)

Dave, please, what is the FSUIPC name of the "ZAP" option? I've been looking for it some time, the list of FSUIPC function is rather huge now.

Thanks,
Sabre.

Anyhow using FSX to open and save 3rd party flight plans is the safest method to make them work with PFE. This applies even to FSBuild and FSC. I'm curious what do you mean FSX simplifies your waypoints? I've never seen that. I usually download a required flight plan from VRoute (with airways), then...

I made my Hotkey bindings in PFE, but when I start the adventure PFE_Display names different keys to push. For example, I assigned '1 key' to Ctr+Shf+1, '2 key' to Ctr+Shf+2 .... etc in PFE GUI, but in-game they don't work at all, I have to push directly 1 or 2 or 3 etc. keys as advised by PFE_Displ...

One more question here: the latest MakeRwys.zip from Paul Dawson is quite newer than the one suggested by PFE interface. Which one am I supposed to use?

Thanks,
Sabre.

Dave, there's no Clearance in EGLC per se, but I managed to add Ground at least by editing runways.txt and got its frequency in the adventure. What would be a more 'proper' procedure to request clearance in EGLC for a British Airways flight, say, to Amsterdam without Clearance facility? Going via st...

I'm going through Runways.txt, there's no Clearance neither Ground. I understand I can edit and add Clearance and Ground frequencies then rebuild database in PFE, can I not? Also, how to confirm instructions from ATC facilities? I'm completely rusty in PFE.

Thanks,
Sabre.

Hello, I'm stuck in EGLC, whereas PFE_Display shows Clearance and Ground as 000.00 frequency. TWR and Departure frequencies are OK. I tune to ATIS and listen to it, then nothing happens, I can't establish contact with clearance. I'm on Windows 7/64, FSX, PFE database is rebuilt with the latest maker...

You can do that. But you just have to be a little creative. FDC is a wonderful program that plays .wav files. It doesn't care what is recorded on that wav file, it just plays it. So, back up one of the voice files, then make your own set with the changes you want. For example, if you don't use the ...
