1. What aircraft? It may be that fdc cannot access the necessary data as is the case for some third party aircraft. If it works with a stock aircraft you don't have a problem.

2. Why? What happens? Do you click on Disconnect? Sometimes it is not instant.

This is definitely a failed installation. Try installing the cumulative updates package.

Hi John, Installing into the Program Files folder on a Vista or Win 7 system can cause untold issues, because this is a Windows protected folder and it can prevent files being updated, etc. Best to avoid it... even for FS! I know the cd installer defaults to that folder but the instal script was wri...

Peter is correct. PFE does not setup a flight situation to position your aircraft, you need to do that in fs.

Also please see the user guide section about allocated parking
