So I guest I can use a SID also? The "I" in SID is the same as the "I" in IFR, so not really, but you can start your flight as an IFR flight and then ask FSS to switch to VFR later. (or the other way round: Depart from a small airfield using VFR, switch to IFR while airborne, ar...

I fly exclusively in the 1950s when there were no female aircrew or controllers. By the way, thank you for making me verify this. I've read about women as controllers during WW2, but didn't know anything about the years after that. (in short: You're right for some parts of the world, but wrong for ...

Another is TUI, Is it Tee You Eye or maybe Too Ee. I have seen both mentioned in forums. Their German commercials pronounce it Too-Ee, but beware that there are multiple TUI airlines with different codes and call signs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TUI_Group#Airlines TUI fly Deutschland (TUI): TUI...

Don't bash on those fighting for the rights of women. Keep your eyes open and you can learn that 'unfortunately' this is still needed.

I am curious as to why the attached ATC Chat log stopped six hours into my 16 hour flight. I had user errors towards the end of the flight, but am not sure why the chat file just stopped. I was using .bgl traffic, as opposed to UT2, if that matters. The (encrypted) debug_monitor.log shows ATC commu...

If Dave fancied the idea and could maybe supply a list of airline names that correspond with the pfac number that would certainly make life easier. PF3/captions.ini contains the pfac lines you need, here is the full list sorted and duplicates removed for your convenience: 1=Aztec 2=Baron 3=Beech 4=...

However P3D was reinstalled soon after purchase before PF3 was installed. Was the original install of P3D in a different directory? The other data is from a flight I did, first flight with PF3 on this PC Then there has to be an additional PF3_freqs.dat somewhere on your system, can you try to find ...

Sorry I got there in the end, below is data in that file, Correct for my flight. Timestamp=201903071326 OK, very good. Now we now the PF3 part of writing the frequencies is working. (and you have another workaround to get the frequencies: use the contents of this file) Next step: If PF3_Display sho...

This is all it shows.

[Config]
Left=-28245
Top=0

It does have date and time of my last flight.
This is pf3_display.ini, which should be in your PF3/PF3_Displayer folder, please look in P3D/PF3_display for a file named PF3_freqs.dat
(the names are similar, but not identical)
