"I choose which voice to use as a pilot's voice in PFE - and also in FDC for checklists - shame they can't be the same" This actually is possible. Optional NEW voice set to compliment FDC/PFE interaction FDC/PFE interaction is only possible if using FDC version 3.9+ together with PFE versi...

Nothing changed or altered within FDC. I did enter the Dept-ICAO as KJFK and Dest-ICAO as PANC on the FDC main page to see if this would make any difference. It didn't. (Interested to know what this is for?). My previous default flight where the calls were working was KJFK to CYVR. The frequencies d...

I used to get 'Glideslope Alive' and 'Localiser Alive' calls when entering the ILS which I normally enter at 2000 ft. Recently these calls are not heard. The GPWS settings have not been changed from the default value of 5,000 feet in the FDC options. Any ideas?

I do the flight nearly every day (cutting out the long bit in the middle via the map) I'm using PFE, FDC, FTX, REX and REX real time weather. My problem is when PFE Vancover approach contacts me, nine times out of ten it ...

If like me your having problems keeping the ATC voice sound volumes stable with FSX Windows 7, try this. It worked for me. Open Control Panel/Sound/Communications, Choose the "Do Nothing" option then Apply. I guess it's reading the ATC as a phone transmission.

I do get the occasional CTD but never caused by PFE or FDC, which are very stable.
Use them nearly every day and have been installed for over five years.
Had a few problems initially but that was because I hadn't set it up correctly.
With help from DM it's been running flawlessly ever since....

After using PFE and FDC for a number of years I have just recently found two very useful adjustments when creating a flight plan. I always like to use the ILS for the approach so any runway that doesn't have one can be closed in the SIDs and STARs options and the ability to request cleared to final ...
