I'm thinking that the problem may be my ignorance about how this is all supposed to work. I have no problem with airports that have an ATIS frequency. So how do you get weather conditions for airports that don't have ATIS or AWOS or some other automated facility? I figured FSS or multicom would be t...

Thanks, Dave. The problem happens at airports with no ATIS frequency and I try to get field conditions from Multicom or FSS. If there's an ATIS frequency I seem to get the correct weather at the field.

Running FS9 under Win 7. I've noticed that whenever request a field advisory from unicom or FSS, I'm given the weather conditions at whatever the plane's current location is rather than at the field. Doesn't seem to matter how close I am to the field. For wx I use FSMeteo, which allows you to set th...

At least I think it's solved. Rather than adding the gauge to an existing panel window, I created a new window containing just the TGS gaugue. So far this has worked on the four panels I've tried it on...the gauge activates without fail when TGS is activated by PFE. It doesn't seem to matter if the ...

Run PFE_Displayer during your flight. It will give you the correct frequencies at your departure and arrival airports, and also a list of commands you can use when tuned to each frequencie.

A shame, but understandable given that it's based on a program that hasn't been in development for some time. It's doing a good job for me now, at that's what counts.
